Fire

This week I will be talking about fire. What does it mean to me.

“The most tangible of all visible mysteries – fire.” Leigh Hunt.

Fire – yellow, orange, red. Burning, burnt, scorched earth. Heat, all consuming.

“Fire is never a gentle master.” Proverb.

Can be comforting – a fireplace. A fireplace cozy in the winter.

Can be scary – bushfires. Bushfires not so welcoming in the summer.

“Where there is smoke there is fire.” Proverb.

Get moving. Light a fire under someone. A flame of an idea. Light a spark.

After a fire regeneration and renewal. New life.

“The difference between a good life and a bad life is how well you walk through the fire.” Carl Jung.

Next week – “Water.”
